- I can think of 2 methods:
-
- 1. Write the files to a floppy disk on the PC. Then put that disk into
- the Amiga and read it with CrossDos.
-
- You don't say if you're having a problem with CrossDos. It's pretty well
- documented. You have to mount the floppy drive(s) on your Amiga as PC0:
- and (optionally) PC1:. There's an icon which can do this by calling the
- PCmount program. It requires either (a) that you have mountlists for PC0:
- and PC1: in devs:dosdrivers - in which case they will mount automatically
- each time you reboot. Or (b) you put them somewhere else, and mount them
- yourself each time you want to use them. I keep them in
- sys:storage/dosdrivers.
-
- 2. You get the program TwinExpress, and a null-modem cable. With this you
- can transfer files using CLI commands on the Amiga. It can achieve
- astonishing speeds even on a standard serial port.
-
- TWINEXPRESS.lha misc/emu 104K Amiga-><-IBM serial transfer system
-
- It's easy to set up and use, with online help if you forget the commands.
